Born in Reykjavík, Iceland in 1986.
Lives & works in Reykjavík.
Steingrímur Gauti studied at Iceland University of the Arts, Universität der Künste in Berlin and Reykjavík School of Visual Arts.
Always curious, experimenting with the elements of painting, his works are experimental and impulsive. Steingrímur draws inspiration from his surroundings - nature and urban textures, daily life and art history.
